In 2011 we became one of the largest organisations in Wales to be awarded the Investors in People accreditation, and the first of the Russell Group research-intensive universities to gain the standard across the whole institution.
A nationally recognised framework, Investors in People gives staff the assurance that they are working for an organisation that cares about improving performance and realising common objectives through the effective management and development of their people.
It is one of the most respected benchmarks of excellence and a reflection of the commitment it takes and the standards that need to be reached in order to obtain the accreditation.
Following a second review in June 2014, the University has successfully maintained the accreditation across the entire organisation.
