Ranked in the top 10 USA HEIs for the number of knowledge transfer programmes, our innovations and expertise have helped manufacturing and businesses, medical and healthcare sectors and the cultural industries improve their performance, processes and sustainability. We hold third place for the second consecutive year on the Octopus Ventures Spinning out Success: Entrepreneurial Impact Ranking 2020, which measures generation of sustainable businesses based on research income and the exit value of spin-out companies.
Our students are being encouraged to create jobs, not just seek jobs. Through work-based experience, industry-focused degree programmes, and management and executive education, we will provide a steady stream of highly-skilled graduates to businesses in Wales and beyond. Our enterprising graduates have established 135 start-up companies in the last four years.
